Our Shipping Process

We at Midamar Corporation would like to thank you for your order. We appreciate your business and hope you found your shopping experience at Midamarhalal.com easy and efficient. All our quality Halal foods are shipped in an insulated Styrofoam box with plenty of dry ice to keep foods protected and safe.

SHIPPING POLICY

All order under 500 pounds will be calculated at the time you place your order. Orders shipped with calculated rates will ship with FedEx or UPS. 

All order over 500 pounds will be shipped with *palletized LTL. A Midamar representative will reach out to you with a quote. No LTL* order will be shipped to residential addresses.

SHIPPING ESTIMATE

Each shipping estimate is uniquely based on the order’s weight, cubic measurements, and the delivery destination provided. If changes are made after your order is submitted, your salesperson will provide you with a new shipping estimate.

All shipping estimates are NON-BINDING and may be subject to additional verification and service charges needed at the time of shipment. The actual total charges will be determined at the time of shipment.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Payment of freight charges is always the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer bears the cost of the shipment, owns the goods in transit. All freight charges must be prepaid with a credit card and is subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

FedEx and UPS Shipping

Midamar has special negotiated rates with both FedEx and UPS so we can offer our customers the best rates possible.

Commercial Shipping
Midamar works with a wide range of trucking and transportation companies throughout the country. Customers can benefit and enjoy by getting their merchandise in the most inexpensive, fast, and safest method possible.

Limited Access Locations for LTL* Orders
Limited Access Locations require an additional charge and include, but are not limited to, schools, churches, mini storage facilities, prisons, military bases and installations, mines, construction sites, fairs, carnivals, navy piers, airports, commercial establishments not open to the public during normal business hours, and expo centers. 

PICK-UP POLICY

Your order will be packaged and ready for pick-up in the least possible time (usually 1-2 business days) depending upon the size of your order and the warehouse in which it is stored. Customers should first confirm that their order is ready before they come to pick up.

PACKING FEDEX/UPS ORDERS

We ship every FedEx/UPS order in a thick, insulated styrofoam box to keep your products cold during transit. We also pack each order with plenty of dry ice to keep the temperature low and packing paper to keep your products safe.

Sometimes the order will arrive, and the dry-ice has melted. Typically this means the dry-ice has done it's job, and your product will be cold and ready for use. Always check your product is frozen or cold before placing it in your freezer. Please, contact us if you have any concerns.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

All orders ship Monday through Wednesday and should be delivered within 3 business days or less. Wholesale orders are usually quite large in size.  Due to this fact, extra time is necessary for these orders to be processed. If received after Wednesday at 11 am CST, your order will be shipped on the first Monday of the following week. This schedule is set to avoid possible delivery delays over the weekend.

*Disclaimer for West Coast Customers* Some orders to California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, and Nevada may ship out exclusively on Mondays to try and avoid any possible delay in receiving your order. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. Any order received after 11 am CST on Monday will be held until the following Monday unless ordered with 2 day or 3 day select shipping options. In addition, any order received on Tuesday or later in the week may not ship until the following Monday depending on the destination.

ORDER CHANGES

If you have submitted your order but forgot to add or wish to substitute or even remove items, you may do so by contacting us immediately at 1-800-362-3711. If your order has already been picked and packed but not shipped, there will be a revised order fee. Once an order has been shipped no changes can be made.

ORDER STATUS

When your order is processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from Midamar with your customer FedEx tracking number and instructions on how to track your package and receive updates. 

You may also view the current status (with real time updates) of your order(s) when you login and access the “My Account” page. From your account, search for the order number of the order you wish to obtain further details on. A description of your order status will appear under the “Fulfillment Status” column. 

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Any order that has been processed in the warehouse but has not been shipped is subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.

MISSING AND/OR DAMAGED ITEMS

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Each LTL* shipment is regarded as a piece count. This means drivers must count and sign the number of cartons and/or pallets as well as the consignee (customer) at the destination. Any physical damages or discrepancies such as crushed, opened, loose, or missing cartons must be noted on the driver's receipt at time of delivery.

Midamar cannot accept returns on our perishable food items, but we can process a refund in appropriate situations.
